This position develops, implements, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to support growth and improved customer satisfaction through operations improvement that includes, but are not limited to safety, customer value proposition, quality, productivity, delivery, cycle reduction, waste elimination and growth, margin expansion, and inventory.As the Operational Excellence Principal of the site, you are responsible to partner with the functional leaders to understand the unmet customer needs and process inefficiencies, support incremental and transformational change, support the definition and execution of a transformation plans and build CORE capabilities to ensure sustainable improvement.What You Will DoLeading LEAN maturity and development, capacity and capability roadmap and planningCoach teams on the CORE Maturity system, support each team to develop a roadmap, ensure improvements are linked to business needs.Support the development of skills and capabilities are available to support site transformation plans.Facilitate the necessary events/activities to deliver value to our customers to create self-sufficiency.Work with the Site CORE Lead, to plan and execute the implementation and advancement of the CORE Operating System within the site.Assist/Facilitate engagements using CORE Methods & Tools that focus on: On-time delivery recovery, Quality escapes and/or yield improvement activities& Specific cost/spend pressures including productivity/efficiency.Train employees on CORE methods and tools.
