Maintaining list of vendors and timing relevant for reconciliation (balance reconciliation letters). Checking customs documentation and posting taxes/preparing payments; cooperating with customs brokers. Annual stock-taking of vendors (balance reconciliation letters). Accounting and control of paid advances. Monthly closing procedures: ensuring that the month is closed properly – necessary calculations and postings are in place. Assisting in audits, providing all necessary documents and information, preparing reports required by auditors. Ensuring that procedures of the company are followed and complied with. Ensuring that transactions entered were done properly and accurately by selecting correct accounts, periods, and principles. Ensuring taxes are calculated and accounted for in compliance with legislation for Colombia, Argentina, and Brazil. Performing other duties as assigned by the manager, related to this position and meeting qualifications. Replacing colleagues during vacations, sick leaves, and other absences. Replacement takes place during working hours and is not considered additional work. Supporting all above tasks for all group entities as per company's needs. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience as an accountant in a company with a strong control environment. Graduate/bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or appropriate certification in Accounting. Knowledge of local tax and accounting legislation. Good knowledge of English (B2-C1). Proficient in MS Office. High sense of responsibility. Ability to accurately fulfill management orders and work tasks. Ability to work in a team.
