Job Description: * DUTIES AND **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Responsible for providing support to U.S. government staff who are charged with the quality control acceptance and delivery of spare parts, equipment, and other aviation support..Undertakes market research and organizes all procurement documentation. - Work with current INL ARAVI program procurement team to ensure efficiencies by incorporating processes into current INL ARAVI procurement practices. - Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly inspections and demand analysis to determine program inventory requirements for program to include Forward Operating Locations (FOL), and ensure update inventory database. - Create and publish reports and charts of inventory conditions and activities. - Process documentation and verifies local transfers, donations and disposal of donated material and equipment under the End-Use Monitoring (EUM) Program. - Monitors usage for expendable material by analyzing past purchases and usage trends. - Responsible for ensuring all program aeronautical spare parts, consumables supplies and equipment are correctly recorded in an automated logistics database system. - Document variances between inventory reporting system and actual inventory levels observed. - Conduct investigations into inventory variances and generate report with conclusions. - Develop countermeasures to address causes of lost inventory and to prevent recurrence. - Initiate Loss, Damage, or Destroyed (LDD) reports as needed. **Job Requirements**: **MINIMUM **QUALIFICATIONS** **EDUCATION**: - The person filling this position must have as a minimum an Associate’s Degree or higher in the area of Logistics Management or Business Administration **LANGUAGE **LEVEL**: - Spanish: Level 4 = Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing/Listening - English: Level 2 = Basic Knowledge required in Speaking/Reading/Writing/Listening **EXPERIENCE**: - Must have a minimum of five years of experience with logistics activities, with a minimum of two years’ experience working with Inventory management and control. **KNOWLEDGE** OF: * - Extensive knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management, supply procedures, and property management is required. **SKILLS **IN**: - Conflict management skills are required to resolve internal and external situations satisfactorily. - Must have the abilities and skills to communicate effectively with host nation and U.S. officials. Additionally, should be able to communicate with laborers and vendors. - Safely carry out projects without presenting a direct threat to self or others. - Organize, analyze, schedule, and maintain accurate records of individual work performed **ABILITY **TO**: - Understand and follow oral and written instructions in the Spanish and English language. - Interpersonal communications abilities. - Work cooperatively with other US Government and Colombian employees. - Productively work with little or no supervision. - Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB AND WORKING **ENVIRONMENT**: - Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. - Capable of traveling to austere Forward Operating Locations as required.
