Juniper Wireless Engineer Role We are seeking a skilled Juniper Wireless Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise wireless networks using Juniper Mist and related technologies. About the Job The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wireless networking concepts, cloud-managed infrastructure, and AI-driven network optimization. You will play a critical role in building reliable, secure, and high-performance wireless environments that enhance user experience and support business growth. Your Key Responsibilities - Design and implement wireless LAN solutions using Juniper Mist, including access points, switches, and cloud controllers. - Configure, deploy, and manage wireless infrastructure across multiple sites, ensuring optimal performance and coverage. - Leverage Mist AI and Marvis Virtual Network Assistant for proactive monitoring, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis. - Conduct wireless site surveys (predictive and physical), RF planning, and spectrum analysis to optimize network design. - Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to integrate wireless solutions into broader network architecture. - Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity, performance, and authentication issues. - Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network designs, configurations, runbooks, and change procedures. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies for wireless security and network performance. Your Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience designing and supporting wireless networks, with hands-on experience in Juniper Mist deployments. - Strong knowledge of WLAN standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and wireless security protocols. - Experience with Juniper switching and routing technologies, and familiarity with Junos OS. - Proficiency in using Mist dashboard, configuration templates, and policy enforcement. - Understanding of network authentication (802.1X, RADIUS), VLANs, and QoS for wireless traffic. - Strong troubleshooting skills, including the use of wireless analyzers and diagnostic tools (e.g., Ekahau, Wireshark).
