What You’ll Be Doing Be part of our client’s team as a SharePoint Systems Administrator , where you’ll manage and enhance a dynamic SharePoint environment that keeps teams connected and information flowing. You’ll be the go-to expert ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. Snapshot of the Role Employment Type: Indefinite Term Contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM EST Work Setup: Work-from-Home/Remote Your Daily Impact Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint servers, farms, and services Set up web applications, site collections, and individual sites based on organizational needs Perform regular updates and apply patches to the SharePoint environment Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and performance Implement and manage security protocols, including user permissions and access controls Conduct security audits and ensure compliance with data protection regulations Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues promptly Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support SharePoint users Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions Perform data recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability Customize SharePoint sites using built-in tools and features Develop and integrate custom solutions using SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, and other tools Manage and organize content within SharePoint, including document libraries and lists Implement content lifecycle practices, including archiving and retention policies Monitor SharePoint performance and identify areas for improvement Optimize system performance and scalability to meet organizational demands Facilitate collaboration among teams and departments using SharePoint features Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback Respond to and resolve SharePoint-related incidents Troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime and user impact Requirements What You Bring to the Table Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint administration and management Technical Skills: Proficient in SharePoint Online and on-premises versions Solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and IIS Experience in SQL Server management and performance tuning Skilled in PowerShell scripting and automation Knowledgeable in SharePoint security models and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern SharePoint customizations Familiarity with Office 365 and its associated tools Certification in SharePoint or Microsoft-related technologies Benefits Perks You’ll Enjoy 5 days work week Weekends off 20 vacation days in total Prepaid medicine Fully-customized Emapta laptop and peripherals Direct exposure to our clients Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment Prime Office Locations - Bogotá and Medellin Unlimited upskilling through Emapta Academy courses (Want to know more?
