We are looking for a QA Engineer Consultant with strong experience in manual testing of backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and skilled at working in Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Design and document test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. Execute manual test cases, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke tests. Identify, log, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps . Collaborate closely with developers to validate fixes and ensure resolution. Work with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure a shared understanding of requirements. Provide feedback on usability, performance, and design consistency. Suggest tools, techniques, and practices to enhance QA workflows and productivity. Contribute to QA standardization and best practices. Maintain updated test documentation and track quality metrics and testing progress. Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Documentation Tools: Confluence, Google Docs, Excel Methodologies: Agile / Scrum Version Control (nice to have): Git Qualifications 3+ years of experience in manual QA with a focus on backend and API testing. Experience working in Agile development environments. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and verbal). Nice to Have Basic knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium , Playwright , or RestAssured . Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
