Job Title: Accounts Payable Representative About the Job Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, is a world-leading provider of integrated security solutions that protect, connect, and optimize businesses of all types and sizes. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Representative to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be responsible for processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place, reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have solid attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. A solid knowledge of finance and billing is desired, as well as analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable. Key Responsibilities - Process invoice batches and perform invoice filing for Securitas Electronic Services and Securitas Electronic Services Canada. - Follow the appropriate approval authorities as outlined in the Accounts Payable transaction approval documentation. - Provide support for audit requests, both internal and from external auditors. - Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing. - Verify the storage and retrieval of invoices. - Follow up on issues in the invoicing process for resolution, including vendor statements and general AP inquiries. - Assist with voiding checks without reissuance and handling returned checks. - Support the month-end closing process by promptly processing all relevant documents. Requirements - Minimum of 6 months of experience in accounts payable. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to analyze and resolve invoices discrepancies efficiently. - Familiarity with specialized and third-party billing systems is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other account management tools. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. - Advanced level of English upper B2 or higher Why Join Us? - A long-term contract with stability. - Regular merit-based increases and performance bonuses.
