The Role: This CTO position offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical aspects of the company, overseeing all strategic and operational decisions. You will be responsible for defining and executing the technology roadmap in alignment with business goals, while ensuring code quality, scalability, and rapid delivery of new features. Key Responsibilities: - Define Technology Roadmap: Align technical strategies with business objectives to drive growth and innovation. - Lead Engineering Team: Grow and mentor a team of engineers, focusing on excellence, agility, and accountability. - Own Platform Development: Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of all technical systems, from architecture to deployment. - Collaborate with Product Teams: Deliver user-centric features through close collaboration with product and design teams. - Evaluate Third-Party Services: Assess and integrate third-party services, such as payment gateways and OTA APIs. - Support Mergers and Acquisitions: Contribute to tech due diligence and integration during mergers and acquisitions. - Strategic Decision-Making: Work closely with the CEO to contribute to high-level strategic decisions. Requirements: - 8+ Years of Experience: Proven track record of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. - PHP Laravel Expertise: Deep understanding of modern architecture patterns, including microservices, queues, and caching. - SaaS Scaling Experience: Successful experience scaling SaaS platforms in a B2B environment. - Strong People Management Skills: Excellent people management and mentoring skills to grow a high-performing team. - Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, or similar platforms. - Automated Testing and CI/CD: Familiarity with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery methodologies. - Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both technically and business-facing. - Bonus Requirement: Experience in the car rental, mobility, or travel tech industry (not required).
