The Opportunity: We are seeking a Cloud Engineer (Amazon Connect Specialist) responsible for providing customers with deep technical expertise to drive the adoption of AWS products in alignment with their business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with specialists, sales, marketing, and product teams to develop innovative solutions that address complex customer challenges. What you’ll be doing: Provide customers with deep technical expertise in your domain to advance adoption of AWS CX products in service to customer goals. Collaborate with specialist, sales, marketing, and products teams to ideate around your customers’ most challenging business problems. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Lead architectural reviews and workshops to advance your customer’s technical objectives. Design and Development: Architect and implement Amazon Connect solutions with Amazon Lex and AWS Lambda. Develop custom contact flows, IVR systems, and chatbots using Node.js. Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance functionality. Is this role for you? Requirements: 8+ years of experience of CX IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role. 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementation of large-scale projects on CX industry. 3+ years of proven experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and AWS Lambda. Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python and related frameworks. Experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM. Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices. Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, etc.) Strong experience on the CX industry: Telephony, IVR, ACD, CTI, Data Lake, WFM, Omnichannel and GenAI integrations, CRM experience. Custom development of cloud CX solutions. Experience with other AWS services (e.g., SQS, SNS, API Gateway). Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively across organizations. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of cloud-based contact center solutions and IVR systems. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong GenAI development skills.
