As a Sr Marketing Manager, you will play a strategic role in shaping the future of our rare disease treatments, directly influencing our global mission and impacting thousands of patients. - Create campaigns and messages that amplify awareness and education about our rare disease therapies, directly aligned with our mission to improve patients' lives. - Facilitate the integration of new team members, including field team members, by promoting effective collaboration within the launch team to continuously refine our communication strategies and preparatory tactics for the launch of our rare disease products. - Lead and support congress activities, including booth design and the creation of collateral materials that establish our products as the preferred treatment choice for healthcare professionals, reflecting our commitment to healthcare excellence and innovation. - Work closely with the sales training team to develop content that ensures effective and influential promotional execution, ensuring that each message accurately conveys the value and efficacy of our solutions for rare diseases. - Demonstrate exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams, including global marketing, regulatory, legal, medical affairs, market research, market access, sales operations, and sales training, to evaluate and optimize tactics and messaging prior to launch. - Manage external agencies and oversee the approval process and production of professional marketing strategies, including visual aids, reprint carriers, conference booth materials, and digital communications, ensuring that each element consistently reflects Amgen's quality and scientific rigor. **Win** **What we expect of you** We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The professional we seek is a collaborative partner with these qualifications. **Basic Qualifications**: - Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing (product / line manager), rare diseases. - Master’s degree and 4 years of marketing ( product / line manager), rare diseases. - Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of marketing ( product / line manager), rare diseases. - Associate’s degree and 10 years of marketing ( product / line manager), rare diseases. - High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing ( product / line manager), rare diseases. - Proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication. **Preferred Qualifications**: - Multi-channel strategies. - Strategic thinking and ability to concisely translate complex scientific topics to a wide range of audiences. - Forward-thinking, ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams. - Experience working with multiple projects and managing multiple external vendors. - Strong planning, project management, communication, collaboration, and organization skills. - Understanding of the principles of brand management, including brand positioning, messaging & overall campaign execution. - Requires approximately 30% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Professional, proactive demeanor. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Thrive** **What you can expect of us** As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.
