Our team works collaboratively in our Columbia, MD office each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Each employee has the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Job Summary: The Media Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting media planning, buying, and execution while ensuring seamless operations across campaigns. This position requires an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of trade publications, media buying, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reconciling media invoices, gathering data for reporting, and supporting campaign execution to ensure our clients achieve optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: Support the creation and maintenance of IO/Close Lists and media flowcharts. Assist in planning and executing event logistics. Provide support across campaigns for on-time delivery. Serve as a backup to the Media Coordinator and maintain GCM certification. Lead billing reconciliation efforts to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Monitor and report on performance metrics using GA4 and other analytics tools. Participate in planning and media buying, including trade and co-op media purchases. Own custom content initiatives, ensuring they align with campaign objectives. Conduct monthly audits of all media campaigns to ensure compliance and efficiency. Maintain a deep understanding of trade publications and their unique nuances. Handle paid digital reconciliation to ensure budget alignment. Provide GCM support in collaboration with the Media Coordinator. Act as a backup for monthly audits and reporting. Assist with campaign execution, ensuring deliverables are met on time. Gather, analyze, and compile data for reporting purposes. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or coordination. Strong understanding of digital and traditional media landscapes. Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), media reconciliation, and reporting. Experience with trade and co-op media buying is a plus. Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
