Role Summary AI ProductionEngineers are technically skilled individuals with a desire totroubleshoot and create solutions for technical production issueswithin DataForce data services projects including scriptdevelopment for data manipulation and defining strategies forproject executions. The successful candidate is a team player whothrives in a fast-paced work environment, working alongside our Solutions Engineers and Technology Project Managers to developcreative solutions for handling complicated workflows and projectexecutions. S/he is self-motivated to learn and become an expert indata services and our company’s technology products. RoleResponsibilities - Provide daily, project-based technical supportto production and sales departments - Facilitate company-widetechnology rollouts - Assist project managers and externalcontributors in troubleshooting issues related to the projectprocesses - Implement automation for asset pre - and post-processingto enhance efficiency - Develop scripts and/or macros in variousprogramming languages to automate repetitive tasks performed byproject managers, optimizing workflow - Generate various file typesas per project requirements, including re-coding and script writingas necessary, ensuring compliance with client specifications anddata integrity - Validate new features in our DataForce technologyproducts - Work closely with Software Product Managers to reportand test fixes for bugs found by product users - Automate assetpre - and post-processing tasks through scripting and macro writingin various programming languages Role Requirements – Knowledge,Skills and Abilities - Able to work onsite 1-2 days a week at ouroffice in Medellín - Business English language proficiency -Scripting knowledge in Python or other programming languages - Highlevel of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),Adobe software - Strong analytical, problem-solving and reasoningskills - Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and makeeffective decisions - Exceptional communication skills with theability to communicate important project updates both verbally andin writing - Adaptability to new challenges and continuous learning - High-level scripting and programming abilities - Capability tovisualize and present different types of data Role Requirements –Education and/or Experience - Minimum Bachelor’s degree or itsequivalent - 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role -Experience with REST APIs - Experience meeting project deliverabledates on tight schedules and within a defined scope - Experiencewith Mac and Windows platforms (no certifications needed) -Experience with API/commands of storage cloud services (like AWSS3, Google Cloud, MS Azure, FTP, Box, etc.) - Experience working ina multinational/multicultural virtual working environment -Experience working in a cross-functional/matrix organization Preferred Role Requirements - Proficiency in Linux systems -Knowledge of JSON and XML are highly desired - Experience creatingschemas in JSON - Knowledge of regular expressions withinprogramming tasks - Experience as Project Lead on a notable and/orinnovative project - Industry specific development DataForce byTransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, theworld’s largest provider of language and technology solutions forglobal business, with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide.
