Job Duties Under strict supervision, assists during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment at work locations, including spotting cement storage vessels, pre-mixing spacer fluids, and rigging-up data monitoring equipment. Learns to operate equipment such as cement pumps, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, ADC systems, bulk cement systems, manifold equipment, and cementing plug releasing tools. Assists with vehicle inspections and related paperwork. Performs tasks that, when done correctly, minimally impact organizational operations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; licensure to operate commercial equipment may be needed. May require completion of I-Learn courses like Essential Mathematics, Red Book, and Cementing 1. Effective communication skills, basic mathematical ability, reading comprehension, and writing skills are necessary. Basic computer skills are preferred. This is an entry-level position in the service operator family, promoting safety awareness, environmental consciousness, and compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
