Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and professional Virtual Front Desk Receptionist to join our physical therapy practice. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional and welcoming experience. This remote position involves patient scheduling, handling inquiries, and providing general administrative support. Key Responsibilities:Patient Interaction: - Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally. - Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using our scheduling software. - Provide accurate information about services, office policies, and procedures. - Address patient inquiries and resolve concerns with care and efficiency. Administrative Support: - Maintain up-to-date patient records with accuracy and confidentiality. - Process insurance verifications and handle authorization requests. - Send appointment reminders and manage follow-up communications. Coordination and Communication: - Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth coordination of patient care. - Act as the communication bridge between patients and the office team. General Office Duties: - Perform data entry and organize electronic files systematically. - Draft, prepare, and send correspondence, including emails and letters. - Provide assistance with additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed. Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma required; some college coursework is a plus. - Experience: Previous medical office experience is preferred but not essential. Customer service experience is required. - Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. - Organization: Excellent multitasking abilities and high attention to detail. - Interpersonal: Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude. - Equipment: Must have a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection. Work Schedule: - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:45 AM to 7:00 PM New York time.
