For Current Gilead Employees and Contractors: **Job Description**: The Commercial Learning and Development (CL&D;) Sr. Manager, as a member of the Commercial Operations team, will be responsible for the overall training functions for the Colombia affiliate and Latin America Mid-Size (LAMS) Markets. This will include developing and executing on the full continuum of training strategies and tactics. The Sr. Mgr. will lead the design and development of essential disease state trainings, product launches, product trainings from the current portfolio, competencies and other CL&D; initiatives. The Sr. Mgr. will be integrally involved in new employee onboarding in Colombia and the LAMS region. He/she will develop training timelines and materials and will be responsible for the implementation and coordination with key stakeholders in the different geographies and within Gilead offices. Responsibilities include mentoring new salespeople, designing team training courses and preparing educational material. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques/models, coaching skills and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority. This position will report to the LAMS Commercial Operations lead and be based in Bogota to fully support the Colombia affiliate training needs but will also be responsible for partner trainings in the LAMS region, including Andean, Caribbean, Central America and South Cone countries. This person will also be the Gilead Learning Management System admin for this region. Roll out the Global and/or regional CL&D; initiatives in the sub-region. - The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:_- Creates and facilitates disease state, product-specific and sales skills trainings for sales team and specific distributors for launches, promotional campaigns, new hire trainings, omnichannel, remote calls skills and kick-offs in Spanish, with the oversight of the Commercial Operations lead- Performs in-field sales coaching and sales team evaluations in Spanish- Facilitates workshops to develop and improve core sales skills- Designs, launches and delivers employee development programs in collaboration with HR Business Partners- Partners with operational teams to ensure delivery of appropriate training on policies, procedures, and information systems- Manages external agencies, budget and vendors, as needed- Partners with Gilead Marketing, IT and Commercial Learning & Development teams to procure shareable learning deliverables to provide efficiencies in learning creation process- Localizes training to region/country needs and market landscape aligned to Gilead corporate and region/country strategy and business- Collaborates with internal stakeholders including Legal, Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Country Leads and Strategic Planning to ensure training materials and workshops are current, effective and compliant with regulatory guidelines- Formulates management development criteria, programs and management training across all therapeutic areas- Leverages appropriate training resources to support colleagues in other functional areas- - This role will manage all therapeutic areas: HIV, HBV, HCV, anti-fungal and the pipeline products including the Oncology portfolio as they are launched- This role will be responsible for not just taking the information from Medical Affairs and repackaging it for use, but understanding the market need, business strategy, and regulatory environment and translating the information in a more usable and impactful format.- Supporting educational material development, including presentations, sales scripts and case studies- Collaborate on the Design of training courses using gamification, role-playing activities and job simulation- Some travel will be required - domestic and international- To manage the e-learning platforms of the company such as Evolve, among others, guaranteeing the availability of the training materials for self-study and providing support when needed to the end users.- To proactively identify training needs in field as well as designing and implementing the training programs for it; ideally spending around 50% of time out in field with the promotional and commercial team.- To monitor the implementation of the selling skills and the model (RING) in field and implement the training reinforcement at a quarterly frequency.- To support the development of the core capabilities needed for the design and implementation of the Account Plans in the Colombian affiliate through the implementation of training programs for this end.- Excellent communication ability- Problem-solving skills
