About the position We're looking for a Mulesoft developer to join our team in Medllín, Colombia. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in building API-led integration using the MuleSoft platform and related third-party systems (such as electronic health records). Given our consistent roll-out of application updates, this position requires a commitment to efficient and high-quality delivery. What you'll do Lead the design and development of MuleSoft applications, ensuring they align with the business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support the deployment of releases. Design and architect comprehensive integration solutions for seamless data migration between clients' Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and the Third Way Health platform. Develop and maintain detailed implementation and migration documentation, including integration points, and configuration details. Design and implement reusable integration flows and scalable architecture to support multiple clients using the same Electronic Health Record (EHR) product. Participate in the continuous improvement of MuleSoft & cloud-based tools and processes. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Participate in regular project and department meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Overall having 3-5 years of Mulesoft, Data Migration and Data Warehouse Implementation experience MuleSoft certification(s), such as MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 and 2 or MuleSoft Certified Platform/Integration Architect, are highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. 3+ years of related professional experience Proven hands-on experience in MuleSoft development, including designing, building, and managing APIs and integrations. Knowledge of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform, including design patterns, MuleSoft API-led connectivity, and error handling. Proficiency in software development languages and tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and their application in MuleSoft projects. Experience with tools and technologies related to integration, such as REST API, Web Services, XML, HL7, and JSON. Understanding of testing methodologies and their application in software development. Deep understanding of the MuleSoft platform, its capabilities, and best practices. Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams. Experience deploying mapping services and managing credentials using AWS Secrets Manager for secure and scalable access control.
