**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly qualified Grants Management Coordinator to oversee the grants management of our Venezuela portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring effective proposal development, donor compliance, timely reporting, and overall accountability to donors. - This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in grants management, preferably with an international NGO or other donor-funded organization. Key Responsibilities: Daily Grants Management and Administration: - Ensure high-quality contract management in close cooperation with senior management team, anticipate and identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Coordinate and facilitate meetings for grant kickoff/opening, review and closing, including monitoring progress against timelines and action points. - Monitor and update that our Grants Management Card on Dynamics and internal documentation systems (SharePoint) are fully updated. - Review and update the grants tracker and ensure regular communication with DRC regional offices, headquarters, and field teams when required. - Facilitate the coordination and communication between DRC and its partners in terms of grants management, contract compliance and quality assurance. Compliance Monitoring and Quality Assurance: - Act as the Grants/Contract Management Donor Compliance Focal Point in the CO, ensure understanding of contractual obligations and regulations. - Provide advice on DRC Grants Management Volume and Donor Compliance matters in collaboration with the HQ GMS to HoP, HoSS and CO and raise any grants and contract management risks to the relevant SMT or RO member for further action. Reporting and New Business Development: - Coordinate provision of training in proposal development and reporting for grants and program teams. - Work with the HoP to update the donor mapping and funding tracker, keeping abreast of funding trends and donor strategies. Requirements and Qualifications: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - At least 3-5 years of experience in grants management, preferably with an international NGO or other donor-funded organization. - Knowledge and experience working with multiple sectors including protection, food security and livelihood, WASH. - Solid experience in the compilation of donor proposals, modification requests and reports. - Knowledge of donor rules and regulations. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize large workloads, to consistently meet deadlines and adapt in a complex and challenging work environment.
