Job Description This is a full-time, independent contractor position at 40 hours per week (2 days off). We have openings across various departments, and depending on business needs, your schedule may include one weekend day per week. Compensation: USD $1,000+ per month, based on qualifications and experience. Virtual Assistant responsibilities will vary depending on the department you are assigned to. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to - Answering, screening, and directing incoming calls to the appropriate team member. - Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when the intended recipient is unavailable. - Logging phone calls and uploading relevant documents into the firm’s online document management system. - Assisting office staff with general clerical tasks, including faxing, copying, and organizing/maintaining files. - Maintaining frequent communication with clients and addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner. - Obtaining and verifying insurance coverage information promptly. - Following up on medical treatment progress to ensure continuity of care. - Requesting and obtaining medical records and billing information from providers. - Communicating with insurance companies regarding treatment updates and inputting adjuster information into the system. - Performing other administrative and case support duties as needed. Qualifications - Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written). - Willingness to work overtime as needed. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proactive and resourceful in resolving issues as they arise. - Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
