The Account Executive is responsible for maximizing sales growth profitably. This involves representing Shamrock Foods Company’s products and services on a commission basis to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments through face-to-face interactions. Essential Duties Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer base. Maintain current customer relationships and increase the share of the customer’s business. Support customer success through: Menu engineering assistance Food cost analysis to reduce waste and improve profitability Sharing market intelligence and industry trends Conducting product demonstrations at customer locations Facilitating demonstrations of our capabilities Introducing new product innovations via Shamrock resources Building multi-level relationships within customer businesses Keeping accounts current by optimizing sales, service, delivery, and collecting overdue balances Leveraging technology to improve customer efficiency and experience Participating in ongoing training to develop skills Other duties as assigned. Qualifications HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2+ years’ experience in culinary, restaurant operations, or foodservice preferred. Previous successful sales experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license required. Strong problem-solving skills. Comfort with technology and analyzing customer data. Knowledge of industry trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
