General Purpose Lead and manage the company's financial and administrative operations, ensuring effective financial planning, resource administration, and compliance with company policies and regulations. Job Description General Purpose Lead and manage the company's financial and administrative operations, ensuring effective financial planning, resource administration, and compliance with company policies and regulations. Oversee the overall budget, review financial reports, and implement company procedures. Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and negotiate the purchase of raw materials, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Prepare the company’s overall budget (operational and investment) in coordination with company management. Support CEO in developing and implementing business strategies, to include managing and monitoring company KPI’s. Preparation of reports and materials for BOD meetings/inquiries. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements are prepared and submitted in accordance with local and US GAAP accounting standards. Implement company accounting policies and procedures and coordinate annual external and periodic internal audits. Manage daily financial transactions, including payroll, purchases, imports, tariffs, and VAT. Maintain up-to-date credit limits with financial institutions, negotiate required credits, and manage foreign currency purchases. Manage the forecasting of company cashflow and capital and debt structure. Lead the Credit Committee, ensuring proper allocation of credit limits and terms to clients, and analyze past-due portfolio trends. Ensure compliance with company IT standards, including disaster recovery and backup routines, and lead software initiatives to improve reporting. Design and maintain an internal control environment to protect company assets and ensure accurate accounting. Oversee corporate taxation and ensure compliance with local practices and laws, aiming for tax minimization. Act as the primary liaison with financial institutions and headquarters for all financial and tax matters. Review and authorize expenses and ensure proper documentation and control of process activities. Manage the company’s purchasing activities and hedging program. Participate in the Operational Planning Committee, presenting projections for timely decision-making. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety management systems and actively participate in related committees and activities.
