Key Responsibilities New Business - Manage new business submissions within scope (territorial / broker / risk type / product) as designated by the Head of Line of Business and according to his / her authority letter. - Populate quotes on the IT system (BEITS) including data collection, rating, pricing, underwriting analysis, and wordings. - Issue quotes and follow up on them. - Authorize lower empowered underwriters (when applicable) and BENET users in BEITS, when required. - Issue policies, policy amendments, and new policies that cannot be outsourced to Portfolio Management (BeService). - Monitor non-tacit renewals of issued policies and amendments, and propose renewals to brokers. - Support the Head of Line of Business in portfolio performance monitoring, if needed. - Assist Business Developers and Market Facing Teams in sales initiatives, including meetings, presentations, and training with brokers. - Develop and grow a knowledgeable producer network, including strategic broker/producer development planning. - Build strong relationships with brokers (local/region) to meet or exceed financial goals such as growth, profit, retention, and new business. General - Read, understand, and sign personal authority letters and technical guidelines, acting within their scope. - Collaborate effectively with underwriting, operations, legal, and claims teams. - Participate in innovation initiatives, product launches, marketing campaigns, and short-term projects to contribute to overall team and company success. Compliance & Risk Management - Stay updated on compliance, procedural, and workflow changes; ensure all activities adhere to laws and regulations. Reporting - Report to the Head of Line of Business (technically) and the Head of Custom (hierarchically). Shared Responsibilities - Work with the Head of LoB to comply with underwriting governance and sales strategy, attend Business Team Committee meetings, and collaborate with other LoBs. Economic Management - Achieve financial targets for his / her LoBs (GWP, commissions, ILR, and overall Custom Plan). Qualifications Knowledge & Experience - Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance market in similar roles. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks. - Proficient in Microsoft Office. - Aspired professional qualification. - Proactive and team-oriented. - Exceptional communication skills with flexibility in style. - Calm under pressure with excellent organizational skills, integrity, and follow-through. - Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with insureds, brokers, and stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
