About the Role We are seeking an experienced MECM Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software deployment, patch management, OS imaging, and endpoint compliance, ensuring a secure and standardized computing environment across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage MECM infrastructure to support enterprise-wide endpoint management. - Develop and maintain task sequences for Windows OS imaging, driver management, and automated deployment. - Create and manage software packaging, application deployment, and update schedules across desktops and laptops. - Administer patch management and compliance reporting to ensure systems remain secure and up to date. - Monitor and troubleshoot MECM components (MP, DP, SUP, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and availability. - Collaborate with security, help desk, and infrastructure teams to implement endpoint protection policies and baselines. - Leverage MECM reporting and Power BI for real-time visibility into endpoint health, compliance, and asset inventory. - Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM). - Strong expertise in OS deployment, application packaging, patching, and compliance using MECM. - Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation, reporting, and task optimization. - Experience with WSUS, Windows Update for Business (WUfB), and software update point (SUP) configuration. - Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, and Group Policy for endpoint management integration. - Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex deployment and configuration issues. Preferred Qualifications: - Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-102, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate). - Experience integrating MECM with Microsoft Intune and co-management environments. - Familiarity with BitLocker, Defender for Endpoint, and endpoint security baselines. - Knowledge of Windows Autopilot and modern endpoint provisioning strategies. - Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments or enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions.
