Learn more at www.automationanywhere.com Our Opportunity Automation Anywhere, Inc. ("AAI") is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal team. AAI is the market leader in Agentic Process Automation ("APA") and Robotics Process Automation ("RPA"), providing leading-edge APA and RPA software and SaaS solutions to enable our large enterprise customers to automate business processes. Due to the rapid growth of our business, we are expanding our customer-facing contract negotiation team to meet increasing customer volumes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working closely with sales to shepherd large volumes of commercial transactions through the negotiation process to signature, while also coordinating with other members of the Legal team, the Contracts Management/Ops team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure corporate contract guidelines are adhered to and risks are mitigated. Candidates must have excellent negotiation, interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills. Location: Remote role based in Colombia - must be able to work Pacific Time hours. You Will Make An Impact By Being Responsible For - Providing review, revisions, and customer and partner-facing negotiations for APA and RPA software licenses, SaaS agreements, professional service agreements, channel agreements, NDAs, and inbound license and other procurement contracts. - Reviewing contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policy and alignment with risk tolerance thresholds. - Investigating high-risk areas and preparing a course of action or making recommendations to minimize exposure to risk while still focusing on customer requirements to close the contract. - Ensuring AAI stakeholder and customer expectations are appropriately set, aligned, and managed throughout the contracting process and that necessary approvals are obtained as required. - Ensuring agreements are processed quickly and efficiently to ensure responsive turnaround to customers and internal stakeholders. - Assisting in continuously updating our contract playbooks of non-standard terms and conditions with associated business approvals and recommending process improvements as necessary. - Updating AAI customer relationship management and contract management applications to ensure cross-organizational visibility to the contracting process and related documentation. - Supporting corporate governance and compliance by ensuring adherence to internal policies, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Assisting with corporate subsidiary maintenance (new entity formation, ongoing requirements, etc.) - Supporting special corporate projects/initiatives, as required. You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have - Bachelor's degree with strong academic and/or professional credentials. - 6+ years' experience in customer and partner-facing software license, SaaS, professional service, and/or strategic contract negotiations. - Detailed knowledge of software licensing and SaaS and nuances of software and SaaS contracting. - Negotiation experience with channel, partner, and reseller agreements. - Negotiation lead experience on behalf of a global software company. - Experience negotiating with large enterprise customers.
