**WHAT YOU WILL DO**: Reporting directly to the VPGM Latin America, the General Manager General Manager, NOLA (Colombia & LATAM North Region) will be responsible for providing vision, direction and leadership in the development, implementation and execution of strategic plans focused on sales growth and brand recognition of Stryker products in Colombia & North Region. Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual financial objectives. Duties include, but not limited to: selection of talent, personal and professional development of team, performance management, development and implementation of country business plans, strong adherence to compliance, regulatory requirements and strong business ethics. **KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**: - Provides leadership and direction to the sales and marketing teams with regard to strategies for driving sales growth by providing support during the sales process, new product development, identification of emerging markets, penetration of existing markets, orders, margin, and unit forecasting; competitive assessment; gap analysis, sales support, distribution and pricing. - Develops and implements regional business plans to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota. - Orders forecasting on a monthly basis for use in planning, manufacturing and inventory management. - Prudent management of budgeted expenses and P&L; control. Accountable for running a profitable business unit by ensuring pricing integrity of all products as well as driving accuracy in order entry and shipment schedules in partnership with Operations Area. - Develops key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions. - Pursues new business opportunities, new markets and acquisitions as appropriate. - Responsible for people management of the local leaders including talent selection, development, engagement, coaching and counseling. - Together with the HR Leader, drive an engaged and inclusive Stryker culture throughout the business, developing a team committed to achieving Stryker goals by fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration through functional areas and Business/Division (matrix organization), Diversity & Inclusion. - Employee engagement: Responsible and accountable for actions promoting an environment that fosters personal and professional growth and development to ensure on-going engagement and success. - Responsible for the presentation of written reviews and evaluations of business performance on the marketing areas to the Vice-President, LATAM and other key stakeholders. - Customer satisfaction: Focuses on customer satisfaction by demonstrated teamwork and empowerment, solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service to earn customer loyalty by developing true friendships with our customers, providing best-in-class products, services and quality. - Utilizes proper software and technological tools to maintain proper records. - Together with the RAQA teams, drive a culture focused on quality, ensuring adherence to the Stryker Quality Management Systems. - Accountable for driving and ensuring adherence with the Compliance Charter. - Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement, participating in preventative maintenance and safety programs (including Back to Better & Flexible Work), strives for cost reduction, and commits to on time, complete, and error free shipments. - Ensures Compliance with all applicable laws. **WHAT YOU WILL NEED**: **Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills** - 10 -15 years in related marketing/sales/leadership position with progressive responsibilities. - Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree highly preferred - Strong background in people management, be viewed by his/her peers as a leader. - Ability to create an environment of trust, team accountability, and transparent communication. - Possess a strong ability to engage their team driving a strong growth mindset and commercial excellence culture in a multi-country cultural environment. - Proven ability to create new market spaces and gain major market share to competition - Must possess the ability to determine and set direction and have the courage to follow through on that direction. - Proven record of engaging customers at all levels in an account and be especially proficient at the CEO/CFO level. - Strong cross functional collaboration competency and the ability to influence functions. - Must be able to work with various different cultures and adapt his/her style accordingly when needed. - Strong understanding of both commercial models - direct channel and indirect. - Fluent in Spanish & English is essential. **WHO WE WANT**: - ** Sets direction. **An innovator who defines ways to create value and deliver on Stryker’s mission and strategic imperative
