Job Description: Remote Accountant (Full-Time) We are a dynamic New York-based company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented **Accountant** to join our remote team. Position Overview The ideal candidate will: - Hold a **degree in accounting** - Have a **minimum of 2 years of relevant experience** - Demonstrate bilingual (English / Spanish) and strong **organizational and multitasking skills** - Thrive in a **remote work setting** with a high level of **self-motivation and independence** Key Responsibilities - General Accounting (Payroll -Sales Taxes & Bookkeeping) - Provide comprehensive accounting support across departments - Perform accurate and timely data entry - Manage bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations - Prepare and issue financial statements Recordkeeping & Accounts Management - Record income, expenses, and operational transactions (including fixed assets, payroll, and payments) - Review and process transactions using **QuickBooks** - Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements - Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems Financial Reporting - Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements - Generate construction-related financial reports - Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting standards Client Communication & Documentation - Communicate with customers to request and follow up on necessary supporting documents - Ensure timely collection of documentation required for accounting and reporting purposes - Maintain professional and courteous client interactions to support financial operations Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting - Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience - Proficiency in **QuickBooks** and **Microsoft Suite** (Outlook, Excel, Planner, Loop, Word, OneDrive) - Strong English communication skills (reading and writing) - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Work Schedule & Contract - Remote Work: 100% online - Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (EST) - - Must be able to align their work schedule with the U.S. calendar, including holidays and business hours. - Contract Type: Service-based agreement (*Contrato por prestación de servicios).El equipo reclutador buscará estos conocimientos y habilidades en las postulaciones.
