Bpi Genethics is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position: Senior Quality Assurance Technician The incumbent will oversee all lab operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, verify product conformance, follow food safety practices, and assist in documentation related to HACCP, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Main Responsibilities include: Verify and approve quality assurance records for incoming raw materials and packaging, including laboratory test reports, certificates of analysis, and daily water checks. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in production according to company policies and international standards. Coordinate preparation of control data for Manufacturing Orders (MO). Coordinate the release and approval of finished goods for sale. Ensure the availability of required materials for laboratory use. Plan and coordinate investigations, analyses, research, and development of new ingredients, processing technologies, or products, and prepare relevant technical reports and recommendations aligned with strategic objectives. Assist in maintaining regulatory standards for all products and prepare documentation and testing required for regulatory approvals from relevant agencies. Coordinate and assist in generating Certificates of Analysis for produced batches. Ensure the integrity of daily quality standards. Conduct quality checks internally (Maintenance, Warehouse, Production) and externally (local suppliers) to meet quality standards. Report non-conformances to relevant personnel and oversee corrective actions. Prevent the delivery or further processing of non-conforming products until issues are resolved. Perform analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples, and interpret results against specifications. Oversee calibration, validation, or maintenance of laboratory equipment. Participate in investigations of out-of-specification results and recommend corrective actions. Provide quality control data for regulatory submissions. Oversee receipt and inspection of raw materials. Investigate questionable test results. Ensure quality supervision during the compounding process and coordinate inline quality checks. Perform other duties to enhance company operations as required. Qualifications, Experience, and Requirements: BSc. Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field. Minimum of three (3) years in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
