This is a customer-facing role, owning the security-focused technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft as well customer engagements, including architecture, implementation, and operational health. **Responsibilities** - Land an end-to-end value proposition for Security (i.e., Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings, and with focus on Threat Protection, ID + Access Management and Cloud Security. - Be the Voice of Customer, sharing insights and best practices, connecting with Global Security teams at Microsoft, as well as Engineering and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the security solution roadmap. - Empower customers in their Microsoft Security adoption journey, being hands on with them to envision and define a Secure strategy, Architecture, and implementation of necessary security controls. - Accelerate Business Value of overall Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits “Secure by Design” framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment. - Run Architectural Design Session to build a plan for implementing the solution - governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production. - Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and Microsoft stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Security platform. - Customer Usage - Position and deliver solutions that drive Security product consumption. **Qualifications**: **Qualifications** Required/Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting - OR equivalent experience. Additional or Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting - OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting - OR equivalent experience. - 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external). - 6+ years experience leading technical projects. - Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications). - Experience in an architectural, engineering, or customer advisory role within the Cloud Security industry. - The ability to advise customers on ways to strengthen their security posture or health, and land customer value through cloud security-based solutions. - Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior security executives in large or complex customers. - Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on security solutions/projects. - Experience in collaborative decision making, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with strong verbal and written communication skills. - Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, Security teams, Security Operations Center (SOC) leadership, Security admins, DevSecOps, Cloud Security architect teams). - Customer obsessed leader with an solution focused approach to solving customer challenges. - Ability to understand customer business objectives and outcomes and ability to quickly leverage tech solutions to accomplish those outcomes.
