Key Accounts Receivable Role This position is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Job Responsibilities - Manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including generating invoices, posting payments, and managing collection activities. - Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing, reviewing invoices for completeness and compliance with company policies and client requirements. - Monitor accounts receivable aging and take necessary actions to minimize overdue payments, including initiating collection efforts and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. - Review and reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to general ledger, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or issues. - Provide backup support to team leads as needed. Leadership Skills - Supervise and lead the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure efficient and accurate processing of transactions. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, including task assignment, workload management, and prioritization. - Maintain low attrition levels within the team. - Communicate effectively with customers and staff. - Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members. Operational Management - Approve accounts receivable activities, including preparing reports and statistical data detailing operational results. - Ensure accomplishment of productivity and quality targets for teams. - Collaborate with client operational peers to understand assignments and ensure timely delivery. - Develop and implement accounts receivable policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Account Management - Serve as subject matter expert for monthly Service Level Reviews (SLRs) with clients. - Maintain service level agreements with clients and achieve high Net Promoter Score (NPS). The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position. Additionally, they should have English language proficiency, knowledge of US GAAP, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication skills are also essential.
