We are looking for a passionate, energetic self-starter who will work closely with the GivePower leadership team to help organize, manage and execute on key projects. As the Senior Deployment Manager, you will be instrumental in helping GivePower accomplish ambitious goals by leading efforts in GivePower’s project development and execution, EPC contractor and construction management, and required administrative support. Working closely with the Director of Deployment for Solar Impact Projects, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Solar Impact Projects globally that focus on using solar energy as an impact catalyst to improve communities’ quality of life. A key emphasis will be providing leadership for all assigned projects regarding development, scope, schedule, and budget - you will be contributing greatly to the level of GivePower’s impact firsthand and be an instrumental team member creating sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Responsibilities: Project Development and Feasibility Scout, evaluate, and support the development of Solar Impact Projects. Conduct feasibility studies, ensuring alignment with internal processes. Participate in RFP bid processes, analyzing bids and recommending contractors. Coordinate with engineering teams to optimize project designs, engaging structural engineers, drafters, surveyors, and other specialists as needed. Identify independent contractors and assemblers for preassembly of components. Source global procurement items, collecting quotes and managing lead times. Project Management and Execution Oversee project documentation, contracts, invoices, and agreements, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements. Manage logistics vendors to optimize timelines and costs. Supervise and support impact deployment managers handling various projects. Identify and communicate technical, logistical, administrative, and legal requirements for global project deployment. Provide technical support and advise on maintenance schedules for existing solar and water projects. Track project finances and deployment progress using leadership tools. Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting Collaborate with the Director of Deployment and VP of Solar Impact Projects to ensure accurate bid package components. Support fundraising efforts by preparing and verifying project information. Communicate project updates to stakeholders, including donors and beneficiaries. Desired Attributes Fluency in English (required for communication with US-based teams). 6+ years of project and/or construction management experience. 4+ years in the renewable energy industry. Experience managing project inventory and logistics. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with software tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and solar monitoring platforms (e.g., SMA, Victron VRM). Innovative, "outside-the-box" thinking in challenging environments.
