A Postdoctoral opportunity is available at Centro de Investigaciones en Catálisis, CICAT, Universidad Industrial de Santander, UIS (Colombia), within of the frame of the Marie Curie Global action. They are interested in an active and creative post-doctoral candidate to study how the distribution of Lewis acid pairs in metallic supported catalysts influences the transfer of hydrogen from a bio-alcohol to unsaturated hydrocarbons. For this purpose, the selected candidate will be able to characterize relevant physicochemical properties of the catalysts using diverse physical and chemical adsorption set-ups and surface sensitive spectroscopies.
