Job Description You will work closely with our Sales team to support all technical aspects of the sales process. From initial technical discovery to building customized solutions, live demos, and integration deep-dives — you'll be critical to helping us win new business and ensure a smooth handoff to post-sales and implementation teams. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role where you will also lay the groundwork for our future Sales Engineering team, shaping processes, playbooks, and technical sales assets. Responsibilities - Lead all technical pre-sales conversations with prospective clients, mainly across Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Chile. - Own and continuously refine the technical discovery process: structure how we gather and document client technical requirements (payments, fraud, providers, integration needs, etc.). - Develop and maintain technical assets: create pre-sales decks, live demo environments, integration option comparisons (API, SDK, Widget), technical documentation, and best practices. - Stay closely connected to our Product and Engineering teams to understand new products and features — continuously updating and enhancing our technical pre-sales materials accordingly. - Conduct live product demonstrations tailored to client needs and technical landscapes. - Support RFPs and technical evaluations, ensuring responses are technically robust and aligned with client needs. - Proactively work across teams (Product, Engineering, Operations) to get the necessary support to answer client questions, prepare RFPs, and deliver technical solutions — without getting discouraged when persistence is needed. - Educate clients on payment ecosystem nuances (local acquirers, alternative payment methods, regulatory challenges) per country. - Collaborate closely with the Sales team to design scalable, customized payment solutions for merchants. - Lay the foundation to eventually build and lead a high-performing Sales Engineering team. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering / Pre-Sales roles within Payments, Fintech, or eCommerce platforms. - Deep understanding of the online payments ecosystem across multiple LatAm countries (especially Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile). - Strong technical knowledge: APIs, SDKs, embedded solutions, fraud prevention, routing, tokenization, 3DS, etc. - Natural curiosity to stay updated on new products and technologies, proactively learning and translating technical advancements into client-facing assets. - Strong personality and resilience: able to push across different teams to get help, answers, and deliverables — with professionalism and without losing momentum. - Hands-on mentality: ready to build tools, documents, demos, and processes from scratch. - Excellent communication skills: able to explain complex technical concepts simply and effectively to business audiences. - Fluent in Spanish and English. - Experience working in high-growth startups or fintech environments is a plus. - Leadership ambition: interested in growing into a future Sales Engineering leadership role.
