Engineering Design Coordinator is a pivotal role that oversees the design and modeling work performed by strategic contractors for various asset classes based on project specifications and P&IDs.; This position plays a key part in implementing digital twin, scanning, surveying, and as-built modeling execution strategies in partnership with the digital team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating design work with engineering contractors to ensure predictable performance, high quality, and compliance to industry standards. Apart from administration and troubleshooting of 3D design software environments, this role involves customizing and managing piping specifications, catalogs, and project templates within the software. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee design and modeling work performed by contractors - Implement digital twin, scanning, surveying, and as-built modeling strategies - Coordinate design work with engineering contractors - Administer and troubleshoot 3D design software environments - Customize and manage piping specifications, catalogs, and project templates Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Design and/or Drafting Technology - 5+ years of experience in piping, instrumentation, electrical or structural design - Full English proficiency - Experience in 3D software administration with exposure to AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant 3D, AVEVA PDMS/E3D, Navisworks, CADworx, AVEVA point cloud manager - Proven experience in enterprise content management solution development and delivery - Experience in database management (SQL, Access) related to CAD systems - Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools - Knowledge of scripting or automation within CAD, AVEVA platforms - Understanding of laser scanning & surveying technologies and quality standards Working Conditions: This role does not offer relocation assistance.
