Are you ready to drive business success by overseeing the onboarding of new customers and supporting applications that facilitate seamless file transfers? This key role involves leading a high-performing team, championing a customer-centric culture, and leveraging broad bank relationships and systems. Key Accountabilities: - Deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. - Lead a team to achieve high performance and deliver core business and regulatory solutions. - Develop expertise in backend XML schemas and communication protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, Connect Direct). - Cultivate excellent oral and written communication skills to connect with team members and stakeholders. - Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to break down complex problems. - Embody a true team player mindset, valuing diverse perspectives and opinions. - Foster strong relationships with customers, providing troubleshooting support during onboarding. - Contribute to an inclusive work environment and champion high-performance operations. - Understand and apply Scotiabank's risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Pursue efficient operations aligned with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles. Reporting Relationships: Primary Manager: (include secondary Manager if applicable) - Software Engineer Lead Direct Reports: - NA Shared Reports: - NA Education / Experience / Other Information: - Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, Information sciences or other related field - 2.5+ years of experience in application support or customer support applications. - At least 1.5 year of experience leading onboarding or support teams - Good to have Scrum Master certification. - Must have working knowledge on communication protocols. - Good to have experience building webservices and SOAP requests. - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. - Team is constantly experimenting with new technologies, so it is important to have high level of tolerance for ambiguity. - Have working experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
