The Marketing and Communications team at Mizzou Engineering is seeking a versatile and dynamic visual storyteller to help showcase the incredible work of our students and faculty. We're looking for someone who can capture that energy through compelling visuals. The successful candidate will: Design digital and print assets, including brochures, flyers, magazine-style publications, digital signage, social media graphics, and more. Photograph events and people to bring our community to life across multiple platforms. Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and others - to develop on-brand engaging materials that resonate with a broad range of audiences. Have experience with social media photography, videography, and content posting. Responsibilities include: Meet with the Director of Marketing and Communications and/or team members and other College stakeholders to discuss design needs and strategy. Design graphics, publications, signage, and other materials for College communications. Capture and edit high-quality photos for events, headshots, and social media use. Create and post visual content tailored for social media platforms. Attend and capture content at select College events throughout the year. Assist with obtaining production costs and estimates from vendors and fulfilling orders, when needed. Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. Collaborate with Marketing and Communications team members; seek and integrate peer feedback. Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with some nights and/or weekends. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with 2 years of relevant experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing digital and print graphics. Experience with photography (event, professional, social media) and related editing tools. Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for posting visual content. Knowledge of print and digital production processes. Understanding of marketing and communications practices and procedures. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Excellent communication skills. Positive attitude and collaborative mindset. Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Grade: GGS 008 University Title: Strategic Communications Associate I Internal applicants can determine their university title by accessing the Talent Profile tile in myHR.
