**Proposal Summary**: The Venezuelan migration crisis has caused significant displacement across Latin America, creating urgent needs for reliable data to inform policy and program responses. This project aims to conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research to capture migration patterns, vulnerabilities, and service access. Effective management and coordination are essential to ensure the research is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and supports stakeholders including governments and international agencies in addressing the migration challenges. Quantitative and qualitative research will focus on Venezuela, United States, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Colombia and Chile. **Position Summary**: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and successful delivery of the Venezuelan Migration research project. This includes leading the project team, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, managing budgets, supervising data collection activities, and maintaining effective communication with the client and partners. **Responsibilities**: - Lead the overall management and implementation of the research project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and donor requirements. - Develop and oversee detailed project work plans, timelines, and budgets. - Coordinate and supervise field operations, including recruitment, training, and management of data collection teams and partners. - Ensure adherence to data quality standards, ethical guidelines, and World Bank or donor protocols. - Act as primary liaison with the client, partners, and stakeholders to provide regular updates and manage expectations. - Oversee data management, analysis, and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. - Identify and mitigate risks and challenges during project implementation, adapting plans as necessary. - Manage procurement and logistics to support field activities, including travel and equipment. - Facilitate capacity building and knowledge transfer to local staff and partners where applicable. - Prepare and submit periodic progress reports, financial reports, and final project deliverables. - Ensure compliance with MSI and donor policies on security, data privacy, and gender sensitivity. - Lead the resolution of operational issues and provide technical guidance to the project team. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, international development, project management, or related field; advanced degree preferred. - At least ten (10) years of experience managing complex research or monitoring and evaluation projects. Migration or related sectors, preferred. - Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams in challenging and diverse field settings. - Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and data collection tools. - Prior experience working with State Department or similar multilateral donor-funded projects highly desirable. - Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively. - Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish required. - Willingness and ability to travel within the region. - _ - U.S. Teams and Clients - Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (International Development) **Reasonable Accommodations**:
