We are currently looking for a Mid-level Product Development Engineer to join us at Bogotá, Colombia. Responsibilities - Deliver LatAm innovation pipeline projects within predefined time, resources and budget. - Translate List of Requirements into several concepts, - Finetune concepts based in project stakeholders and subject matter experts, - Make Product Digital designs, - Take lead in testing solutions, - Consult & align with process and/or material experts and local production on industrialization, - Support, inspire and collaborate with fellow product development engineers to come with optimal solution(s) - Key technical knowledge holder production process and product design. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronics Engineering or Production Engineering or related fields. - Knowledge and experience in developing plastic products. injection molding, extrusion and other plastic processing methods. - 3+years of proven experience in managing complex projects. - Experience in setting up 3D models (preferably SolidWorks or CAD). Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organisational skills to ensure effective planning and tracking of activities and actions, excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. - Excellent communications skills in English, both verbally as well as in writing. - Willingness to travel (10-20% if necessary).
