About Jacinth-Ambrosia Jacinth-Ambrosia is located 270 kilometres north of the Port of Thevenard, near Ceduna. It is the world’s largest source of zircon, and a Tier 1 deposit with extensive reserves. It is the first mining development in a mixed-use regional reserve - the Yellabina Regional Reserve - in South Australia, with the operation demonstrating a commitment to high environmental standards and progressive land rehabilitation. Jacinth-Ambrosia site has a fully equipped modern camp with facilities including a gym, pool, sports courts, recreation rooms, Wi-Fi and Foxtel. About the role Are you a Human Resources professional who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team of operations staff? If so, we have the opportunity for you! We are seeking a People Partner (Operations) to join our People team on a full time, permanent basis. You will play a key role in the HR execution of business strategies and operational objectives at our Jacinth-Ambrosia operation and have the opportunity to support the broader eastern operations. Jacinth-Ambrosia mine is located in South Australia, approximately 280 kilometres North-West of Ceduna by road. This is a Hybrid role with time being spent equally between our Adelaide office and operational site, on a Fly-in, Fly out (FIFO) basis, comprising of either a 4 days on / 3 days off or 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with travel from either Adelaide or Ceduna provided. Role responsibilities will include the following: - Partner with the business to provide HR advisory support and coaching on people matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations and change management- Analyse and monitor workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and support the delivery of proactive strategies in response- Support operational leaders to progress day to day activities and culture initiatives- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality services- Participate as part of a broader professional HR team by personally contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery About you To be successful for this role, you will have- Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline- Demonstrated experience in a human resources role within mining or other related heavy industries- Proven ability to develop constructive working relationships with employees and managers- Strong influencing skills- A good understanding of human resources and employee relations legislation and practices- Sound judgement and objective problem-solving skills- Experience using HR systems such as Workday- Valid C class driver’s licence Our offer to you- Be supported through an inclusive and collaborative culture- Up to 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave- Ability to Purchase Additional Annual Leave- Competitive Salary and Bonus Structures- Company share matching scheme You will be supported, empowered, included and encouraged to be the best version of yourself.
