As a seasoned AWS Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our next-generation chip design engine. This cutting-edge project involves building scalable microservices and integrating cloud infrastructure with leading EDA providers. Key Responsibilities: - We are seeking an engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend APIs and microservices. - The ideal candidate will connect cloud infrastructure to EDA platforms using AWS and secure integration best practices. - Responsibilities include deploying and managing services using AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, Cognito, etc.). - Data ingestion and storage for simulation files (SPICE netlists, GDS, text files) is also critical. - Collaboration with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of UI with backend services is essential. - Optimizing performance for running Python-based design verification scripts and data flows is key to success. - Implementing secure access control, user management, and logging is also required. Required Skills: - Strong experience with AWS services, particularly: - AWS Lambda - API Gateway - ECS/EKS (or Docker on EC2) - S3, RDS/DynamoDB - IAM, Cognito - CloudFormation or Terraform (desired) - Backend development: Proficiency in Python or Node.js, with experience building scalable RESTful APIs. - DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or other CI/CD tools. - Experience working with file-based data transfer and job orchestration (e.g., simulation pipelines). - Understanding of security principles, access control, and encrypted data transfer.
