We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to strengthen our financial operations and ensure regulatory adherence both locally and globally. Key Responsibilities Invoicing & Transactions - Manage and issue national and intercompany invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring seamless cash flow. Financial Reporting & Analysis - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Develop and present budget forecasts and provide ongoing budgetary control. - Create and present periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders and external partners. Tax & Compliance - Prepare and file local and international taxes, ensuring full compliance with regulations. - Stay abreast of updates in financial legislation and accounting standards. Payroll & Provisions - Oversee payroll records, social benefits, and associated provisions. - Validate payroll data in collaboration with HR to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Account Reconciliation - Lead monthly and quarterly reconciliation of bank accounts, taxes, provisions, amortizations, and depreciation. - Detect and correct accounting errors, ensuring clean, audit-ready books. Process Optimization - Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and implement workflow improvements. - Support automation and digitization initiatives within the finance team. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting with active CPA certification in Colombia. - Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals. - Fluency in Microsoft Office suite. - Experienced using Siigo. - Experienced in managing Quickbooks.
