This position is highly involved in the “Comprobantes Fiscales Digitales por Internet (CFDI)” process in Mexico. The CFDI process is a digital invoicing system mandated by the Mexican government, which requires businesses to generate, issue, and maintain electronic invoices for all commercial transactions. As a Specialist E-Accounting Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to lead all aspects of and run the CFDI compliance activities, “CRP/Repse & Complemento de pago” and E-accounting, within the organization. You will complete tasks related to E-Accounting compliance and collaborate closely with various internal departments, such as finance, accounting, payroll, procurement, and IT, to implement and maintain an efficient and compliant E-Accounting/CFDI system. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring the adoption of digital technologies into the income and Expense reconciliation between accounting and fiscal reports. Optimize traditional activities of “CRP/Repse & complemento de Pago through automation and digitalization. Ensure compliance on E-Accounting activities assigned by the E-Accounting team Lead. Internal and External Collaborator Management: Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, accounting, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of E-Accounting/CFDI processes. Liaise with external collaborators, including tax authorities, auditors, and vendors (BPO), as vital. Audits and Compliance Assessments: Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits or compliance assessments related to the E-Accounting/CFDI process, guiding the team through the process. Qualifications Education: Education level required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 or 3 years post qualified financial experience. Experience and Skills: Required: You should have at least 2 to validated experience working in accounting or finance. Proven track record in a similar job in finance / accounting / customer service environment. Knowledge of general accounting processes. IFRS or USGAAP knowledge.
