Position Overview The Client Accounting Manager oversees a small team of 2-3 members and delivers exceptional accounting services to clients. This role focuses on client satisfaction, quality control, and process improvement to ensure the highest level of service and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. Respond promptly and clearly to client questions and feedback. 2. Oversee and manage a team of 2-3 accounting professionals by delegating tasks, reviewing work, and providing coaching. 3. Conduct thorough QC reviews and approve financial statements before client delivery. 4. Lead monthly client financial review meetings via Zoom or Loom, analyzing trends and providing proactive insights. 5. Oversee accounting tasks, including payroll, month-end close, AR/AP management, sales tax, and 1099 filings. 6. Create and implement systems and processes to streamline accounting workflows and improve overall client service efficiency. Qualifications: 1. Excellent English language skills with minimal accent. 2. Strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting. 3. 2-3+ years of experience in client-facing accounting roles. 4. Experience managing a small team and overseeing service delivery. 5. Proficiency in accounting software such as QBO, NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Nice-to-Haves: 1. Experience with US-based clients. 2. Prior client account management experience.
