ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for a passionate and experienced High School Psychologist, Career Counselor, and IB DP Psychology Teacher to support our students' well-being and academic growth. This is a dual-role position that combines teaching the IB DP Psychology course with providing psychological, socio-emotional, and vocational support to high school students. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As High School Psychologist and Career Counselor: - Support students' socio-emotional well-being through individual sessions and group guidance. - Design and lead preventive programs related to mental health, emotional intelligence, and healthy relationships. - Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide timely and effective interventions. - Organize and lead vocational orientation and university counseling processes. - Guide students through university application processes, including national and international opportunities. - Coordinate and facilitate university fairs, workshops, and counseling sessions on career planning. As IB DP Psychology Teacher: - Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and inquiry-based IB DP Psychology lessons. - Guide students in the completion of Internal Assessments (IA) and prepare them for External IB Examinations. - Promote ethical and culturally sensitive approaches to the study of behavior and mental processes. - Foster the development of analytical and critical thinking skills. - Contribute to interdisciplinary planning and collaborate with other departments. Requisitos REQUIREMENTS MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS: - Professional degree in Psychology with valid certification to practice. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in school psychology and/or career counseling. - Demonstrated experience teaching IB DP Psychology or similar subjects. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with adolescents. - Experience in designing and implementing socio-emotional and career development programs. - Familiarity with national and international university application processes. DESIRED BUT NOT EXCLUDING REQUIREMENTS: - Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field. - IB DP Programme-specific training in Psychology. - Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level. - Recent experience working in an IB Continuum School. - Familiarity with inquiry-based and interdisciplinary teaching practices. - Ability to use technology to enhance learning and counseling processes.
