We are seeking a Tax Specialist responsible for ensuring compliance with Colombian tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax declarations, implementing controls to mitigate risks, and providing technical support across the business. The role involves leading relationships with tax authorities and external advisors, ensuring transparency and compliance with all fiscal obligations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and file national and district tax declarations (VAT, withholding taxes, industry and commerce - ICA). Prepare and submit the annual income tax return. Compile and provide information for the annual transfer pricing study, ensuring timely delivery to the tax advisor. Calculate and record income tax provisions under USGAAP and Local GAAP, and prepare quarterly and annual corporate reports (Tax Package, Stat to GAAP). Determine deferred taxes under USGAAP and Local GAAP. Manage and respond to corporate tax requirements and audits. Monitor regulatory updates and tax reforms, ensuring proper implementation. Provide tax guidance to different departments, coordinating with tax advisors. Support electronic invoicing processes and coordinate IT changes related to tax regulations. Forecast monthly and annual taxes for cash flow projections. Identify and mitigate fiscal risks, ensuring compliance. Prepare documentation for VAT refunds. Propose and implement improvements in tax processes, ensuring SOX compliance. At least 3 years of professional experience in tax area, preferably in consumer goods companies. Knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS standards. Preferably familiar with SAP. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills. Intermediate English proficiency.
