Customer Experience Specialist Cashiers and checkers play a vital role in creating a positive customer experience. They are responsible for processing transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. By understanding the Point of Sale (POS) system and handling various tenders, they can ensure seamless transactions and build strong relationships with customers. In addition, they must stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads to provide accurate information to customers. Furthermore, they must adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting, engaging, and assisting customers. 2. Transaction Processing: Process transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system. 3. Tender Handling: Understand the POS system and handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, complex loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy. 4. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to answer questions and resolve issues. 5. Safety and Security: Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers. Requirements: - Customer service experience. - Effective communication skills. - Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, and subtraction).
