Your effort and expertise are crucial to the success and execution of this impactful mission that is critical in ensuring mission success through Security Engineering, Vulnerability Testing, Penetration Testing, Risk Management and Assessment, Insider Threat Analysis, and IT Policies and Procedures by improving, protecting, and defending our Nation's Security. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including SW and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's HW and SW, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides. Create code documentation for SW; produce implementation guides and end-user manuals. Provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation; format technical publications from various resources. Required Capabilities Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides, manuals, and technical publications. Gather technical information, prepare written content, and maintain an internal documentation library. Use tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio effectively. Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials. Understand basic concepts and write technical copy for complex projects. Research technical subjects, organize information, and communicate clearly to diverse audiences. Interpret engineering drawings and operational procedures. Produce documentation for defense acquisition, user manuals, and training materials. Create, update, and monitor SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools. Provide oversight of technical writing and editing processes. Work independently on complex systems documentation. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience as a Technical Writer on similar scope programs. Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline; Master's degree may reduce experience requirement. Active Security Clearance with Polygraph required. Pay Range: $110,000 - $155,000 Our compensation approach considers various factors to establish an equitable package, including responsibilities, education, experience, and skills.
