What the S&M Manager Contributes to Cardinal Health How the Sales & Marketing Manager Contributes The S&M Manager will be responsible for the commercial leadership of the assigned country, including business strategy and development. They will coordinate supporting functions to ensure alignment with global and regional strategies, in accordance with regulations, compliance, corporate policies, and local practices. Accountabilities Achieve business goals through existing growth opportunities and identify new business prospects within the country. Drive top-line growth via channel development and direct accounts. Develop and implement sales strategies based on success factors for business growth. Manage profitability and increase contribution margins. Analyze and construct distributor structures within the country. Identify key needs and challenges, and align internal support to execute solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers to secure sales and product penetration. Understand and influence pricing strategies to strengthen business recognition. Develop go-to-market strategies for local market growth. Manage relationships with key accounts. Collaborate with functional areas to manage working capital metrics (AR and inventories). Leadership Lead the sales team to achieve goals and objectives. Ensure cross-functional team alignment for successful strategy development and implementation. Attract, develop, and retain talent. Implement succession planning and foster employee growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred. 8-10+ years of sales and operations experience, including channel management. 7+ years of leadership experience in a multinational environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or medical devices. Proven success in managing sales teams. Native proficiency in Spanish and advanced proficiency in English. Strong understanding of the local markets and distribution channels. Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills. Expectations Provide leadership to front-line supervisors. Manage the country budget. Develop and implement policies and procedures.
