Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive International Financial Coordinator to support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist in compliance and reporting. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional eager to gain international experience while working remotely with U.S. businesses. Key Responsibilities - Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations - Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. - Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. - Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures. - Accounts Payable & Receivable - Process invoices, track accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments. - Manage outstanding payments, follow up on late invoices, and resolve discrepancies. - Tax & Compliance Support - Assist with filing sales and excise taxes on a monthly or quarterly basis. - Identify potential 1099 vendors, collaborate with clients, and manage annual tax filings. - Financial Analysis & Budgeting - Support cost accruals and forecasting to aid financial planning. - Provide financial data for management reports and decision-making. - System & Process Optimization - Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Xero for financial reporting. - Implement automation tools to streamline financial workflows. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification (preferred but not required). - 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting. Technical Skills - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, SAP, NetSuite, or Sage). - Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). - Experience with AP/AR management platforms such as Bill.com or Monday.com. Soft Skills & Work Approach - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English). - Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines. - Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills.
