Inthis role, you will be responsible for streamlining and automatingfinancial processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in ourfinancial reporting. What this role looks like As our FinanceAutomation Specialist, you will work closely with the VP of Finance& Operations to lead the development, implementation, andscaling of automation solutions within our finance operations. Yourmission will be to innovate and streamline workflows across variousfinancial functions, improving accuracy, enhancing efficiency, andensuring compliance. This position requires a unique blend oftechnical proficiency and financial acumen, enabling our financeteam to operate at maximum efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities - Design, develop and implement highlyscalable automation solutions for financial processes such asaccounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting. - Closelycollaborate with Finance, RevOps and Data Engineering teams toidentify and automate workflows that elevate data accuracy andreliability, transforming everyday tasks into seamless, tech-drivenprocesses. - Design and maintain financial dashboards and real-timereporting tools to provide actionable insights and facilitatestrategic decision-making. - Act as the Finance Automationarchitect: constantly spot bottlenecks and engineer smart solutionsto shape how the future of Finance looks like at Virtuagym. - Trainteam members on new automation tools and foster a culture ofcontinuous improvement across the finance team. - Constantlyevaluate and implement new technologies in financial automation,pushing the company to become automation and AI-driven. What youwill bring to the team - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, ComputerScience, Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree orrelevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus. - Minimum of 2years of experience in finance automation, finance operations, orrelated engineering roles with demonstrated experience in financialprocess optimization. - Proficiency with financial software,Billing systems, ERP systems, and automation tools; experience withscripting and coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a strongadvantage. - Strong analytical skills, with the ability tointerpret and leverage financial data to drive processimprovements. - Excellent written and verbal communication skillsin English; full working proficiency is a must-have. -Detail-oriented and solution-focused, with a proactive approach toenhancing financial systems and workflows.
