Director, VAS Acceptance Specialized Sales The Director, VAS Acceptance Specialized Sales will be commercially responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients and prospects in the Andean region. The primary focus is on increasing the adoption of Visa's Value-Added Services in ecommerce payments, fraud, dispute management, and payment security solutions. - Develop and implement account strategies supporting client retention, revenue growth, and profitability. - Generate new revenue through referrals, inbound leads, sales inquiries, and prospecting. - Manage the sales process to close new business in fraud management, payment processing, dispute resolution, and security solutions. - Develop reseller programs to effectively deliver Visa's value proposition to indirect clients and meet key metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct strategic customer meetings, quarterly reviews, and executive discussions to share best practices and results. 2. Lead solution development efforts addressing customer needs, coordinating internal support resources. 3. Advocate for customers internally, collaborating with product management, support, sales engineering, and finance teams. 4. Provide expertise on global payment processing, fraud management, and security technologies, advising clients on features and functionalities. 5. Analyze customer performance metrics to provide consultative reviews and strategic recommendations for maximum value. Reporting Relationships & Interactions: The position reports to the Visa VAS lead based in Miami, responsible for the Andean region. It involves internal interactions with Sales, Products, Marketing, and regional/global teams, as well as external engagement with clients, merchants, and third-party agents. Minimum Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in global payments sales or related fields, with success in managing and expanding strategic client relationships. - Strong consultative selling and customer relationship management skills, focusing on B2B enterprise segments. - Experience in fast-paced environments using tools like Microsoft Dynamics and formal sales methodologies. - Solid knowledge of global payment platforms; familiarity with digital wallets and mobile payments is a plus. - Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written). - Issue resolution skills across all business levels, including C-suite.
