**Specific SE Manager Job Duties**: - Coordinate and assign activities of Related SE Team (MAM). - Recruit, Hire and Retain key engineers within assigned geography, so the sales processes can continue - Maintain a great working atmosphere that allows personal and professional development to each one of the team members - Define and execute a 30/60/90 days process to employees that perform below the required standard and if needed, let him go of the organization. - Oversee, in alignment to Fortinet’s defined policies, the business operation authorizations of his SE Team. (Travel requests, Expense Reports, Purchase requests, etc) - First point of contact and coordinate SE Team of the MAM Organization. - Analyze, review and define the course of action of escalated pre and post sales tasks sent to the SE Team - Escalate post-sales tickets to the TAC organization. - Coordinate, coach, escalate, assign tasks and provide feedback to the TSE organization while said organization does not have its own management team - Escalate Advanced Technologies requests to the Americas and LATAM SET/FAT organization - Escalate Consulting System Engineer requests to the Americas and LATAM CSE organization - Analyze, review and escalate requests to HQ Subject Matter Experts of Advanced Technologies, Project Managers, etc. - SE and Sales team activities escalation, coordination and definition with Sales CAM, TAM and MAM Directors - In order to properly manage inter-teams cooperation, conflicts, disagreements, PTO calendars, etc. He must have a close relationship and an open communication channel to exchange their vision, points of view and strategies with his peer TAM/CAM SE Manager. - Be the point of escalation for pre and post sales SE activities to the SE Manager - Execute 1:1 meeting with his SE team to properly follow-up their professional and if applicable, personal needs of his team. - Retrieve, document and send a weekly report of project status of their team to his SE Manager. - Participate on the sales meetings to gather the required SE activities and assign them to his SE team - Oversee his SE Team development, included, but not limited to execute, authorize, coordinate: performance reviews, team feedback, hard, soft skills coaching, local and abroad training and technology enablement of Fortinet-related products, sales, pre-sales skills, etc. - Be an active part, provide feedback and help define the proper technical expectations/requirements of the Channel strategy definition meetings. - Be an active part, provide feedback and help define the proper technical expectations/requirements of the Carrier/MSSP strategy definition meetings. - Define the MAM SE Team strategy definition in coordination with SE Manager. - Support the proper execution of the Technical Channel enablement program along with the TAM/CAM SE Team. - Perform technical, pre-sales and post-sales overview and follow-up meetings with relevant partners and distributors of the region - Perform business feasibility analysis along with execution recommendation of relevant projects. - Work with the Marketing team to plan, set and execute the activities needed to fulfill the needs and actions required to have a successful MAM/SE team operation and development strategy. **General Job Duties** - Give proper follow-up to VIP projects and promptly report any advances or potential issues, so the sales teams and assigned SE can be aware and proactively work on the next step. - Align strategies to properly introduce to the market new products and ensure sales success from the engineering perspective. - Establish, document and enforce processes that allow higher efficiency and productivity in the presales stage of projects. - Align strategies to proactively avoid potential issues in any of the pre-sales or post-sales processes established. - Provide assistance on post-sales support cases, when customer relevance or project importance demands so. - Assist resellers to perform technical design of security solutions for customers. Recommend the best technical solution for a given scenario, in order to provide high quality products and services to Fortinet customers. - Support educational efforts (both in-classroom and remote via Webinars) targeted to keep a high degree of knowledge about Fortinet’s solutions, to the partner, reseller and distributor base. - Create technical documents and/or presentations that can help the partner base to perform better/quicker/more impressive demonstrations, to effectively show Fortinet’ products strengths. - Be a spokesperson, appropriately representing the company at public conferences, media and partner/Fortinet driven events. - Work with Corporate and Field Marketing teams, to help understand specific market needs in order to drive the appropriate activities that can impact positively market’s perception towards Fortinet. - Participate and be part of the feedback process to Research and Development, on information that flows f
